HELP NEEDED with information.

A friend is writing a book about horses in NZ - and is wishing to find information regarding the early horses of NZ. Info about their care, their arrival into NZ, their breeding and origins, their history here and what they were used for.
Where did they first land in NZ? How did they survive?

Spotted this beautiful chimney the other day. Standing all alone in the paddock in the

country - house had long burnt down - but this just seemed to call my attention.

Chimney Matua I call it as we had just visited Matua Valley Vineyard in the beautiful Matua valley in Waimauku Auckland west.
We drove past it and went and had some lunch. But couldn't get it out of my head so had to drive back and take a picture. And here it is! lol!

HELP URGENTLY NEEDED -

Homes are urgently needed for a number of cats. This is a genuine case of legally needing to rehome these well care for cats - ages may vary between 1-2 years of age.

The people who have these cats have exhausted all possibilities to keep them, so they need to all go to caring loving homes.

They are currently on the North Shore in Auckland.
